International Advisory Board

CRAFT-OA and DIAMAS were two complementary Horizon Europe-funded projects that supported the development and sustainability of the Diamond Open Access model across the European Research Area and globally. While DIAMAS focused on best practices, skills, editorial quality, and financial sustainability, CRAFT-OA supported the construction of a federated technical infrastructure to support Diamond Open Access.

Together, the projects laid the foundation for the European Diamond Capacity Hub (EDCH), which serves the European Diamond Open Access community. In that context, a joint International Advisory Board (IAB) was appointed to provide support, guidance, and advice on the activities of the two EU-funded research initiatives.

The International Advisory Board was composed of 13 external experts in Open Science from all parts of the world to ensure a fair global representation. The IAB members provided feedback on the projects’ outputs, and helped guide the European Diamocd Capacity Hub (EDCH) in a global context:
