CRAFT-OA Coffee Lectures

Throughout the 2024-2025 winter season CRAFT-OA is organizing a coffee lecture series on technical publication standards.

26 September 2025 (English)

Our next Coffee Lecture is about how open-access training can help support staff working in academic publishing, regardless of their current level of technical expertise. In this session, Cezary Rosiński (IBL PAN) will introduce a new set of training materials designed to strengthen technological skills across the publishing process. The materials offer four learning paths tailored to different levels of involvement in the publishing process. They cover key areas such as workflow management, data processing, data management, and publishing software. You’ll also find practical use cases, including DOI registration and using Google Sheets as a publishing dashboard. During the session, we’ll walk you through the structure of the training and show how it can help streamline editorial workflows through smart use of available tools. All materials can be previewed here.

The session will take place on webex and the recording will be made available in the coffee lecture series playlist on TIB’s  AV Portal.

After the lecture, the speakers will also be available to answer your questions on data protection and PKP applications.

The event will take place online via Webex. The short lecture will be recorded and made available later. However, the recording will be stopped before the Q&A session.
