Empowering Institutional Publishing for Diamond Open Access
In alignment with Open Science principles, OpenAIRE is launching a call for Institutional Publishing Service Providers and community-driven Diamond Open Access platforms to participate as pilot users of the new Publisher Dashboard, a dedicated service developed under the CRAFT-OA project and embedded in the OpenAIRE MONITOR platform.
The Publisher Dashboard is designed to support Diamond OA publishers in improving their metadata workflows, assessing alignment with Open Science and FAIR practices, and enhancing the visibility and transparency of their publishing activities through actionable metrics and indicators derived from the OpenAIRE Graph, one of the world’s largest scientific knowledge graphs.
Objectives of the Pilot
Selected pilot participants will:
- Monitor their scholarly publishing output through a centralized dashboard.
- Identify gaps in metadata quality and improve compliance with the OpenAIRE Guidelines.
- Enhance discoverability of their journals via OpenAIRE and EOSC portals.
- Benchmark their journals using comparative indicators.
- Contribute to the co-design and refinement of features and indicators based on real-world needs.

- Institution & Journal-level Dashboards for granular monitoring
- Publishing Analytics: number of journals, DOAJ indexing, number of publications found also in Repositories, time, countries breakdowns
- Metadata Coverage & Reuse: repositories, Fields of Science (FoS), SDG mapping
- Funding Attribution: Projects/EC Projects Participations, Grant-supported publications
- Aggregation into OpenAIRE: Support for OJS via dedicated plugins ensuring compatibility with the OpenAIRE Guidelines
Who Should Apply?
This call is open to DIAMAS Institutional Publisher Service Providers, Publishing platforms, and National publishing platforms of Diamond OA Journals.
